Welcome to the PTFA section of our website.
PTFA NEWS: March 2023
During the month of May (when the weather has hopefully improved) Mason and Freddie Gage (2 pupils in Buzzard Class) are aiming to walk a “Marathon in a Month” in order to start raising funds for the replacement of the existing trim trail/play equipment within the school grounds.
They will be writing to third parties seeking sponsorship for their efforts - and the PTFA have set up a “Go Fund Me” page in readiness, which will be shared in due course.
The walks will be arranged by the PTFA and carried out over various Saturdays/Sundays throughout May, with distances documented on Strava.
This will be a collective effort, as well as a fun/social event for the children

We are really fortunate to have an active PTFA, raising funds to provide essential funding for equipment, trips, activities and opportunities for our school.
As a parent or guardian at Hawkchurch Church of England Primary School you are warmly invited to attend our open meetings held once each half term and have a say on how funds could be raised and how they are spent.
AGM’s are held at the end of the school year in July.
Examples of expenditure in the last two years include trips to World of Country Life, Wookey Hole, Axe Valley Wildlife Centre and the Theatre, visitors from Exeter Exotics and the development of the mud kitchen and also long-term class room learning resources such as the Listening-Centre.
If you’d like to get involved or just find out a bit more about what we do please don’t hesitate to email us on email@example.com or ask the school administrator to point you in the right direction of a committee member.
Once at Hawkchurch Primary you will be offered a range of ways to be kept up-to-date with what’s happening and what’s coming up.
Looking Forward To Meeting You Soon….
