• Axminster School gets new bench built by the community

  Hawkchurch CE Primary School has been working with Axminster Community Shed to build a new 'friendship bench' at the school.

   

  The structure, built using natural and recycled materials along with planters and a bird box was officially handed over by members of Axminster Community Shed on Wednesday December 14, with eldest attending student Millie Best, cutting the festive tinsel.

• Tree-planting session held at local primary school
