We believe that Hawkchurch is a very special place, where a dedicated emphasis on teaching and learning to high standards sits comfortably alongside the provision of a safe and happy space for our children to learn and develop as rounded, vibrant individuals.

Our school is an integral part of the community, maintaining very close links with the church and the village. Hawkchurch CofE is part of the First Federation, and has strong links with all our schools across Devon.

We have a good-sized playing field and playground for sports and games, and a garden, which are utilised throughout the day, to support learning opportunities.

At Hawkchurch we are extremely proud of our children and the positive, happy individuals we see growing up here. Our Vision of A Place to Belong: A Place to Flourish allows both children and adults to flourish at our school.
